Ingredients
8 chicken drumsticks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 small garlic clove crushed
8 rashers bacon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
Coat drumsticks with salt, pepper and garlic. Wrap a strip of bacon firmly around each drumstick, securing ends with toothpicks. Brush with vegetable oil and grill. Turn frequently and brush with additional oil, for about 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
To test for doneness, using a food thermometer the meat should reach 75ºC at the thickest part of the meat and when pierced the juices should run clear.
Place hot drumsticks on a platter and serve with some sweet chili sauce for dipping.
