Defrosting Guide


Thaw in refrigerator for approximately 7-8 hours per 500g.

Oven

   1.  Preheat oven to 180°C.
   2. Remove turkey from bag.
   3. Place turkey in baking tray & cover with foil.
   4. Allow 25 to 30 minutes cooking timer per 500 grams.
   5. Add a further 6 minutes of cooking time for every 100g of seasoning used.
   6. Approx. 40 minutes prior to the end of cooking time remove foil from turkey.
   7. Cover & rest the turkey for 10 minutes prior to carving.

Storage Instructions
Keep frozen. Store at or below -18°C.

Shelf Life/ Expiry Date
Greater than 24 months when stored in frozen conditions below -18°C.

Handling Turkey Safely

   1. Keep frozen at temperatures below -18°C.
   2. Always thaw frozen turkey completely before cooking.
   3. Once completely thawed, turkey must be cooked. Never refreeze.
   4. Always keep raw or thawed turkey separate from other foods .
   5. Wash hands, work surfaces and utensils thoroughly in hot soapy water before and after handling turkey.
   6. Always cook thoroughly.
