Ingredients
1 Steggles Chicken Defrosted
1 Cup Of Water
Salt And Pepper

Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C. Place defrosted chicken on a rack in a baking dish or place straight into a dish. Season chicken well.

Add 1 cup of water to the dish, this will create steam whilst cooking to keep the chicken most and protect pan juices from charring - ensuring a tasty gravy.

Cook chicken for approximately 30 minutes per 500 grams. Add 5-10 minutes cooking time if studding is used.*

Test the chicken to see if it is cooked by piercing the thickest part of the thigh with a skewer and that juices run clear. When the thick joint moves freely away from the breast, this is also an indication that the chicken is cooked.
